| Contrast this and the
next photo with the photos of the old classroom below, and you can see
how far we have come over the past year. Everyone loves the
comfort and warm feel of this new space. |
This and
the previous photo taken Feb. 20, 2008. |

As the move-in begins, the
old classroom takes on the look of a very inviting and confortable

This is the room with the
windows filled in by cement block, brick and five layers of 5/8 drywall
on the inside to create the necessary firewall. |
Two new offices have been

Blake Christopher and (next
photo) Cam Hess install doors on Amy's and barbara's offices (8-23-07) |
Cam and Blake are
volunteers. In addition to installing these doors, they have
resized doors for all the rooms in which carpeting was laid. We
are most grateful to them. |
The room with drop ceiling
and lighting completed and ready for carpeting. |

This was Linda Super's
classroom, spedial ed, as found when BOPARC took possession of the school
in 1999. |
When cleanup got
underway. |
The sad thing about the new
configuration of this room as the Director's office is that fire
regulations dictate that the windwos had to be removed and a two hour
fire wall created in their place. |
The left side of the room
with blackboard and plaster removed and the brick sand blasted.
The exposed brick will be painted with clear varnish. |
Demolition work in process. |
