Lounge Room Photos

We intend to renovate one room at a time, doing so with mostly volunteer labor. We started with the lounge (former first grade) room. The photos below represent our progress to date. We are waiting for installation of heating/air-conditioning ceiling units before we install a new drop ceiling and refinish the floor. We will update this and all other pages as work progresses.


This and the next photo, taken Feb. 20, 2008, show the Lounge Room as it is now being used. Barbara Ferrell is to be thanked for the inviting, comfortable feel of furniture and surroundings.	The green cloth in the lower left corner of photo covers the pool table.

The final step! Carpeting goes down in the lounge room on August 28	A detail shot of the central pattern of the lounge room carpet.	The final product.	Louvered doors are being installed on all cloak room doors. The cloak rooms have become home to the heat exchangers for the new heating/cooling system. 10/10/07 The door just looks warped; the illusion of warping is caused by changing the photograph from landscape to portrait orientation.
