Roof Photos We were told by a professional roofer in 2004 that Wiles Hill School needed a new rubber roof; cost, $40,000. Several of us from BOPARC and the Neighborhood Association climbed ladders and found the current rubber roof to be in good condition overall. As pictures below will show, however, there were places where lack of regular maintenance and cleaning resulted in leaks which, before they were fixed, did considerable water damage inside the building. For the cost a roll of rubber roofing, lap adhesive, and a few small tools (cost, $300) several of us working over a weekend made the roof whole and secure from leaks once again. It hasn't leaked since. |
