In 2018, the Alumni Association partnered with the WVU History Department to create a permanent exhibit about the history of Wiles Hill Grade School and the memories associated with it. WVU students recorded oral histories with Wiles Hill alumni, compiled photographs, and designed the exhibit as part of their coursework. Leading this charge was Danielle Petrak, director of the Royce J. and Caroline B. Watts Museum and instructor of the Spring 2018 Exhibit Design class at WVU. The exhibit was installed in the summer of 2018, and dedicated on September 23, 2018 as part of the Alumni Reunion. Below are photos that show the progression of the space from special needs classroom in 1999 to exhibit and office space in 2018.
